London. October 30: The cage is finally open and the God of Mischief is back free! Marvel brings home its umpteenth center in the production of blockbuster  movies and the second chapter of Thor – the Dark World collects over than 45.2 million dollars in the first three days! The war between brothers continues!
In fact, we were expecting something more from director Alan Taylor, who, to be honest, had accustomed us to a very high level with the Game of Thrones.

Ok, we are talking about a Disney movie and so seeing bloody battles that winked at the best splatter movies was unlikely, as well as also realistic scenes of sex were not likely (although it would have been very appreciated by us to see more deeply the God of Thunder, Chris Hemsworth, as Mom did him) but perhaps, thing that was missing the most for us was the almost total absence of the psychological and temperamental analysis of the characters.
But all this just to want to be nit-pick, because to make up for some deficiencies there is a breathtaking set that shows us Asgard, the City of Gold, at last and  makes possible to see and to visit this glorious city, there are perfect framings of fighting and mythical Elves’ and Asgardian’ armies nearly obsessive care of their looks.
On the background of the love story begun in the first Thor (2011, directed by K. Branagh), between the God of Thunder and the human researcher Natalie Portman, the viewer is immediately projected into a world in crisis, where the Elves are waging war against the entire universe and in which the demi-god Thor’s forces alone are not sufficient to deal with the villain of the piece: the ruthless and sneaky Elf King Malekith.
And then, after a start a bit slow showing us a kind of maturation of Thor with the awareness that the 9 realms will be truly of him one day, the rhythm changes with the arrival on the scene of Tom Hiddleston, Loki made ​​person.
And the eyes light up!
It’s immediately quite clear that Marvel winks  to the God of Mischief and that is paving the way to him for a “solo movie” but this is the fact: Loki is handsome, charming, almost “human” in his madness and his army of fans that are going crazy for the ether can only say thanks and preparing themselves to enjoy with a series of hilarious gags in which the eloquence and sagacity of Loki strengthen, consolidate and consecrate the combination of force / trick making them indispensable each other!
Thor, still, comes out a little characterized as a kind of ape nice but not very intelligent … a practical one, in a word!  But we are not that type of girls having and making problem and, by the way, his hammer solves a lot of things!
And, anyway, just to be truly objective, Loki can be also criticized because in some scenes looks almost like a naughty and arrogant child. Of course, he’s without the “wand of destiny” that he had in The Avengers and with which asked to the earth to kneel before him but a Loki’s smile is enough to make us forget some facets from “spoiled child”!
Who Wins? Well, girls, the film will be released in Italian cinemas on November 20 so why give too much information?
For Marvel this movie is certainly a mission accomplished in the best way ever!
For those who, like us, have already seen it, we can only tell you that if the axiom by which pleasure expectation is sweeter than the pleasure in itself is true, then, pleasure’s deception and fascination sublimate it to the nth power.
Because like it or not: we are in Loki’s army!
And you, humans: feast your eyes!
